Randstad is currently seeking a qualified and experienced fixed plant electrician. The position is for an 8/6 roster, FIFO from perth on $50-$57/hr dependant on experience. This role is ongoing and for the right applicant our client is offering a temp to perm opportunity.
The primary responsibilities of the role:
Preventative maintenance to all areas of fixed plant including some instrumentation and PLC work.
The position requires you to be physically fit, willing to take on a challenge and be happy to go the extra mile when neccessary.
Successful applicants MUST possess:
HV Switching Certificate
WA "A" Grade Electrical Licence
Able to start with a weeks notice
Able to pass random drug and alcohol testing & provide police clearance
Previous experience working in the mining and resource sector
Knowledge of PLCs & experience in Instrumentation
To be eligible to apply for this position you must have an appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa.
