The Opportunity

As a Senior Trainer – Auto Electrical, the primary objective of this role is to provide advice (either technical or non-technical) as well as to assist the Product Developer team in the development of new products, extending the capabilities of the marketability of the product in the market and improve existing products with a focus on development of a more sophisticated, more efficient series of products. Your role would be to work with the team to develop as well as to be the leader in the field to provide training and advices to the people working in the field of the utilization of our products and to provide ‘hands-on’ demonstration solutions.
You will have to be responsible for all technical support enquiries of all product ranges, existing or new, particularly for those related to low voltage electrical solutions and maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental integrity. Your area of responsibility will grow as your technical competency grows.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with the Product Development team within the process for the entire product from initial concept to product launch.
• Providing technical support and appropriate Engineering, design and development background to team members as well as the people in the field of new low voltage electrical appliance products.
• Liaising with the Product Developers in testing and compliance of existing and new low voltage electrical appliance products.
• Ensure products within your Engineering portfolio are developed to comply with all government, industry and retailer standards.
• Providing ‘hands-on’ demonstration and solutions to the people in the field for any products of the company, including the benefits, the utilization and troubleshooting procedures.
• Assisting with the regulatory approval process & compliance of products.

What will make you the ideal candidate for the role?
This role would ideally suit someone who:

• Has proven experience in the low voltage electrical and low voltage circuitry management industry and with specialist expertise within the area of Engineering, and other varied electrical safety protection products.
• Possesses the capability and desire to progress their career in this area. Skills and interests include strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Is a high mobility individual, including international travel and relocation to sites should needed. (Most initial assignments will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia where the company is headquartered)

• Is a prudent personnel with a desire to develop and assist people and a good team player
• Electrical/Electronics Engineering background is essential, however proven experience in a low voltage electrical related Testing or Engineering in the field is highly regarded
• Possess a strong Technical knowledge of low voltage electrical appliance industry and standards
• Possess a strong time and project management skills.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
