Randstad require the services of 2-3 experienced excavator operators for a ongoing civil project based in and around Adelaide. Our client specialises in service installation and substation construction and is looking to engage 2-3 people capable of undertaking the current roles:
Excavator operator
These positions will pay a key role in the onsite installation of underground electrical services at metro and regional sites in South Australia.
The use of excavators & skid steers are critical to the completion of these projects, though civil labouring will also be required on a regular basis.
Suitable candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
Excavator operation - trenching, detailed excavation & backfill
Skid steer operation (desirable)
Pipelaying
Civil labouring
Truck driving - including tippers & tandem tippers
A willingness to work on remote projects as and when required
The current position on offer commences on contract with the realistic opportunity for ongoing work. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excavator and skid steer experience, in addition to a HR truck licence (or higher).
