Service Center Manager

Pace Analytical Services, Inc., a leading national analytical laboratory has an immediate opening for a Service Manager.   The Service Manager will serve as the primary technical and administrative liaison between clients and Pace Analytical through daily coordination of activities including taking bottle orders, report delivery, and managing large-scale, complex projects. 

Also will provide leadership and guidance to courier logistic and analytical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain positive client relationships and solve problems
• Communicate with laboratory operations staff, SM, CSM, and GM
• Project manage specific client accounts:  Development of client relationships; Project set-up, monitoring, and reporting; Client follow-up; Problem solving; Coordinate courier logistics, supervise courier(s), and/or provide courier service as required
• Responsible for working with GM on expense management
• Supervise technical staff and/or perform local testing activities as required
• Assists with generating leads/advertising
• Provide support for market research / marketing and sales plan
• Provide support for forecast revenue / financial objectives

Supervisory Responsibilities includes:

Requirements:

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
• Current and applicable computer skills
• Candidate should have a BA or BS degree in a science
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in an environmental laboratory
• The individual should be self-motivated, ambitious, hardworking, and able to work independently or with a group
• Physical requirements include walking, bending, carrying and standing or sitting for extended periods
• Must also have hand and finger dexterity, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
