Electrical Engineer Jnr > Snr Ore Processing

In the role of Electrical Engineer, you provide technical support to the Engineering Manager and leadership to engineers and technicians across the ore processing division.  Ideally, the Electrical Engineer will be aiming to develop into Engineering Management as their career progresses.



Applicants will preferably have some Experience in the following:
  • Experience in heavy industrial materials handling projects (hardrock processing)
  • High understanding of HAZOP and CHAZOP process.
  • Providing full lifecycle reports.
  • The ability of liaising with consultancies regarding electrical designs and drafting.
  • Project engineering and management experience.

The successful candidate will have a Supervision background with strong leadership traits.

Key Selection Criteria:
  • A strong commitment to safety.
  • Tertiary qualified in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in upgrades of hoppers, screeners, dumpers, stackers, reclaimers and conveyor.
  • Demonstrated supervision of other engineers and mentoring capability.
  • 5 years experience in an Industrial environment, ideally mining experience.
  • Experience DCS and PLC systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare complex technical and detailed reports and guidelines.
