Progressive Global Energy is proud to be working with a leading EPCM to source an experienced Claims Manager. This role is based in Perth and is responsible for the overall management and leadership for the resolution of all contractual claims.
The Role
* Provide contractual claims management support
* Chair claims meetings with the client and opposite third party claimants
* Review schedules and apply high level scheduling knowledge to claim events
* Provide advice to contracts and project teams concerning contractual matters including disputes
* Assist in the analysing and application of commercial risk to the project
* Provide technical leadership, expertise, advice and support to the contracts and project teams in negotiations
* Regularly liaise/communicate and consult with key stakeholders and report on performance of claims management to project and client management
The Person
* 10 – 15 years Contracts Management experience, with 3 plus years Claims Management experience
* Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, engineering or other relevant degrees
* Commercial acumen in the engineering & construction environment
* Ability to manage and lead a team towards satisfactory claims resolutions
