Principal Resource Geologist - Adelaide

AMC Consultants is a leading mining consultancy, providing services exclusively to the minerals sector. We are experiencing an exciting period of growth and have a number of interesting opportunities available. 

Our Adelaide office is currently seeking a Principal Resource Geologist with the following skills and qualifications: 

Specialist skills required: 
  • Demonstrated strong experience and capability in carrying out mineral resource evaluation and modelling. 
  • Understanding of and experience in geostatistical estimation techniques and proficiency in relevant modelling software.
  • Diverse geological experience: exploration, resource definition, underground and open cut mining. 
  • A range of commodity experience. 

Specialist skills - desirable:
  • Experience in technical reviews and due diligence. 
  • Datamine software skills will be very highly regarded. 
  • Previous consulting experience. 
  • Experience working in other countries. 

Qualifications required: 
  • Degree in geological science with a minimum of 12+ years of sound geological and resource estimation experience in a variety of environments. 
  • Membership of an appropriate professional society such as the AusIMM or AIG (or eligibility to join). 

The salary packages offered will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
