Sales/Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with timely support on the installation of new and rebuilt Joy equipment, insuring customer satisfaction. Provides customers with technical support in the repair and troubleshooting of both new and remanufactured Joy equipment. Assists the Sales Engineer with the development of customer specifications when preparing specific machine proposals. Assists the Sales Team in meeting territorial sales objectives.

Qualifications

• This position requires a thorough knowledge of Joy electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components. The incumbent must be able to read and interpret blueprints and use many types of test instrumentation. Knowledge of regional customers and their equipment needs is also necessary. A degree in Mining Technology or equivalent experience is required.
