Welder/Fabricator

Schramm, Inc. is a century-old Chester County, Pennsylvania manufacturer and global supplier to the hydraulic drill industry, focusing on land based applications. 

We are looking for Welders/Fabricators who can work either the 1^st (7:00 am to 3:00 pm) or 3rd (11 pm to 7 am) shifts.   

• These individuals will be working from instructions and drawings to fit and weld light gauge sheet metal weldments with minimal supervision. 
• Position requires minimum of two years of welding experience. 
• Ability to operate shear, brake, and punch press would be a plus. 
• Must be able to read & understand blueprint dimensions & nomenclature, ability to use torch, stick weld & mig weld with flux-core & hard wire, able to use common hand tools, power sanders, grinder, etc., must be able to use measuring tools (tape, scale, protractor, etc.), must be able to layout, tack finish weld to print specifications, able to prepare work material and dress welds on product. 
• Heavy structural welding required with sheet metal welding a plus.
