The responsibilities of the Geotechnical Engineer include:
Looking after Geotechnical investigations which includes proposals, reports to testing and inspections.
Dealing with tender proposals and reviews.
Writing detailed reports on Geotechnical issues.
Soil testing and sampling.
Involvement in open cut and underground mine geotechnics
Providing technical advice and expertise on mining geotechnical engineering matters.
The job requirements of the Geotechnical Engineer include:
Strong experience in geotechnical analysis and design and investigation.
A minimum of 2 year's experience in hard rock, open pit mining or on underground mines.
Working knowledge of mining and geotechnical software.
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia.
