Senior Mine Geologist - NSW (Underground Copper)

The Role:
The opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mine Geologist to join this high-grade underground copper mine in Central NSW. You will work a 5 days on and 2 days off, Monday to Friday roster and be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package and bonus scheme.

Reporting to the Geology Superintendent you will be responsible for supervising the geology team and for mentoring more junior Geologists. Accountabilities will include planning and scheduling as well as grade control and stockpile management, whilst managing drilling contracts and implementing exploration programs.

The Requirements:
You will be degree qualified and demonstrate underground metalliferous mining experience. You will possess excellent communication skills and have a proven commitment to safety. The ability to use Datamine, Acquire and Surpac will be an advantage but it is not an essential requirement.
