Senior Geotechnical Engineer - NSW (Underground Copper)

The Role:
Currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their Technical Services team this high-grade underground copper mine is offering a competitive remuneration package and executive company housing in a family focused NSW town.

As the Senior Geotechnical Engineer you will be responsible for the development and implementation of control measures to minimise the risks associated with underground mining. You will provide geotechnical input to maximise production through design whilst minimising rehabilitation requirements.

The Requirements:
To be considered for this opportunity a Degree qualification in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering or Geology and excellent experience in an underground metalliferous environment is essential.
Training in Risk Management and experience using mine software such Surpac and Map 3D will be highly regarded.
