Mine Superintendent – Underground – Hard Rock

My client is a global mining producer that has many current and upcoming projects within Australia. This role will be working closely with the Mine Manger to assist in supervising and directing project works in an underground environment. 
 
Other activities include supervision of mining contractors, and assisting in the day to day operations of the site. Knowledge of HSE will be highly regarded as your input and participation on safety will be desired for a Zero Harm policy.  
 
Skills & Attributes
  • Minimum of 5 years working in a similar underground environment
  • Mine Planning and scheduling processes experience
  • Proven safety record within underground mining environment
  • Ability to lead and manage teams
  • Exposure to mining software packages
  • HSE qualifications/exposure and Rick assessment analysis highly regarded
  • Excellent written, communication and organisation skills
