I am looking for a Senior Exploration Geologist for my client based in NSW.
They are a junior precious metals exploration company, and they are looking for an ambitious and driven Senior Exploration Geologist who is committed to discovery, with experience in finding significant mineral deposits.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years+ of exploring base and / or precious metals in green & brownfield environments.
You will be responsible for taking the lead on exploration activities, including drill programme design, target generation, mapping, rig & core work (diamond & RC), as well as interpreting & logging geological data. You will also be involved in tenement administration, environmental & geophysical assessments & landholder liaison.
As the Senior Geologist in the team, you will also be responsible for the hiring of new staff into the team including interviewing, training (where necessary) and delegation of responsibilities.
The role is FIFO to site from Sydney and the roster is negotiable at this point.
