Lead Electrical Engineer

• EPCM working on Copper projects
• Reporting directly to the Principal Electrical Engineer
• Perth location but an international project

About the Company:
The company that you will be working for is a Major EPCM servicing the Resources and Mining sector. They are a focused supplier of consultancy, engineering and project management services currently working on an international Copper project.
 
The company requires an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join their team, you will be leading some very experienced Electrical Engineers and be reporting directly to the Principal.  This position is available immediately and is initially a contract position, moving to permanent.
  
Responsibilities:

• Technical support.
• Models, Drawings, Calculations, Specifications, Reports, Evaluations.
• Site inspections, Functionality testing.
• Link between Project team and engineering discipline group.
• Provide technical and commercial direction to engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years Experience in Electrical design in the mining and minerals process industry.
• High level of technical competency (High voltage, HV/MV distribution, Medium voltage motor control, Large MV variable speed drive systems).
• EPCM experience highly regarded
• Leadership and Management skills.
