People are their core value and they are looking to appoint an experienced HR generalist with key skills to lead and mentor their team, influencing strategy across operations and IR.
Responsible for the effective implementation of the HR business plan and the successful delivery of a wide range of high quality services this role will suit a generalist who has a strong employee and industrial relations focus. Other accountabilities include; HR legal compliance, recruitment, selection and retention, L&D and performance management strategy.
In addition, you will lead a close knit team with a customer focused culture to work strategically and collaboratively with operational team members. A significant measure of your success will be the mentoring, leadership and growth of your team.
To succeed in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of capability in similar size organisations (ideally 250+ employees) with relevant qualifications. You must be commercially focused with considerable communication and influencing skills. Ideally you will have experience in heavy engineering, energy/power, mining, or a related area of industrial operations.
