Senior Electrical Engineer | Mining Industry Experience

My client has been servicing their industries for over 60 years, and has been providing world class engineering services across industries such as Oil and Gas, Mining, Environment and Construction.  With a global presence across numerous countries with thousands of engineers, their contribution to the world has been recognised in the industry, time and time again.

As the result of considerable growth within their Mining and Oil & Gas business, a Senior Electrical Engineer is required to join the Melbourne CBD team and be a respected member of the Energy and Resources business unit.  As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will have experience in several of the following:
  • Front end design and detailed design for HV and LV across Mining or Oil & Gas
  • Considerable knowledge in SCADA, Substation design and automation, MCC and other electrical systems
  • Be able to provide input to design and project review meetings
  • Familiar with design for Hazardous area’s and the selection of equipment for these Areas
  • Any additional certification such as RPEQ, TÜV, etc. are not necessary but will be viewed as favourable
  • Office and Site experience would be viewed as favourable
  • Extensive knowledge of the relevant standards and regulatory requirements and experience working to ISO9000 QA systems
