Electrical Designer / Electrical Draftsperson - Oil and Gas or Mining

My client has been servicing their clients for over 60 years, and has been providing world class engineering services across industries such as Oil and Gas, Mining,Environment and Construction. 

As the result of a newly created vacancy in their Melbourne office, they are looking for an Electrical Design/Draftsperson or an Electrical Drafter to join the Melbourne team and work on several of their already won projects.  Offering services from initial design, through to project management and execution, you will be given the chance to work on some of the largest projects in Australia. 

As an Electrical Designer Drafter or an Electrical Draftsperson, your strengths will be focused on:

• Electrical Design and Drafting in the Oil & Gas, Mining, or Industrial Sectors
• Experience with power distribution – HV, MV, LV and / or substation design
• Be highly proficient in at least AutoCAD – Experience with other packages as well as AutoCAD will be viewed favourably.
• Any site or operational experience will be viewed as favourable.

As the ideal Electrical Designer / Draftsperson or Electrical Drafter you will be able to work on several projects at a time, be able to manage your time effectively and have excellent communication skills.  experience in a consultancy or EPCM environment would be viewed as favourable.

This role is for an Electrical Designer / Drafter looking for a permanent position, however long term contracts will be considered for the right applicant.
