Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is proud to be working with our client, a multi-national organisation, in their search for a Senior Mining Engineer for one of their prestigious underground operations in NSW.

As part of the planned expansion they are undertaking a shaft sinking project which will extend the life of the mine.

The job:
Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for liaising with project and production teams and integrating systems and processes ensuring a smooth transition. You will be overseeing contractors directly responsible for sinking the shaft and will ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Skills & experience required:

• To be considered for this position you will require the following as a minimum:
• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
• Solid experience in underground hard rock mining
• Previous project management experience
• Previous experience with shaft sinking would be highly regarded
