The Position
You will be based in the Bowen Basin of Queensland working on the initial stages of a Greenfields project. Providing skills in establishing the systems and processes for short term mine planning you will be able to make your mark on this project. You will work with the contracts department to ensure that contractual obligations are met and the operation remains profitable.
Being responsible for the short term and production planning on site you will manage a small team of engineers and surveyors. You will report to the Technical Services Manager on site and assist with establishing relationships with both the clients team and operations.
Skills and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Short term / production planning
- Mining software through mine planning and design
- Open cut coal experience
- Truck and shovel operations scheduling
- Strong written and verbal communication
- An ability to liaise with management, production and the owners team
Remuneration
The total package for this position is broken up with a high base salary, superannuation, a generous site allowance, accomodation and flights
