The Position
You will be based in the in their Brisbane head office and provide mine planning and design support to site and work with the business development team in tender review and development. You will gain experience in contract management, client liaison and works including variation to contract. This company has exceptional relationships with their clients meaning that you will work in a collaborative approach.
Being responsible for medium term business planning through the business development team they will develop your skills in cost modelling. You will report to the Principal Mining Engineer and assist with the training and development of a team of Mining Engineers.
Skills and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Production and / or Medium term scheduling
- Mining software through mine planning and design
- Open cut coal experience
- Truck and shovel operations scheduling
- Strong written and verbal communication
- An ability to liaise with management, site and the client
Remuneration
The total package for this position is broken up with a high base salary, superannuation and a generous bonus structure based on individual and company performance.
