Contract Drill and Blast Engineer - Underground WA

An opportunity currently exists for a Drill & Blast Engineer to join one of our client’s underground operations in Western Australia. This successful gold producer is offering an excellent day rate, FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth for a 3 month contract to start ASAP.

Responsibilities will include: 
  • Drill & blast designs, planning & scheduling
  • daily tracking of production activities, 
  • liaising with contractors and underground inspections of working area.
  • Compile daily and monthly reports
The successful applicant will ideally have:
  • A Degree in Mining Engineering
  • 3+ years previous drill & blast/production experience in an underground environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong focus on safety
