General Operations Manager

Aus Labour Currently has a position available for a General Operations Manager.
 
This role will require you to be responsible for leading the team of Metallurgists to provide accurate metallurgical information and operating parameters to the Operations and Maintenance personnel. You will also montitor the performance of the ore processing plants in both the concentrator and Copper Sulphate Plant to meet and exceed the metallurgical performance.  
 
To be successful you will have;
 
- Experience as a Process Manager or Superintendent within the field of Metallurgy
- A degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing or Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge of Copper Floatation and Copper Sulphate Processing Methods
- Minimum 10 years experience supervising process plant operations
- Strong problem solving and mentoring skills
- A commitment to developing best practices
- Awareness of all relevant OHS
