A lot of competition for the same Principal and Management roles in the Mutlinational EPCMs in Perth? Client facing role for a strong Lead Engineer to develop their management capabilities. Not hard core business development focused as they already have a guy for that but more about developing the current relationships further.
They have one of the strongest names in Coal and are building their minerals profile in WA. Gold, copper and iron ore projects, working with some of the multinational mining houses in WA and Overseas. Projects ranging from $50M to $2B. New project recently awarded includes a $1.5B copper project overseas.
Manage these projects and the electrical team. Including a Senior Engineer and two Engineers around the 5 year intermediate mark.
Company has a reputation of high quality projects and not just studies. Doing a lot of detailed design and FEED. Focused on projects that come within 10% of scope and accuracy. Also peer reviews and redesign and evaluation of designs. A staff of 120 in Australia with a smaller outfit in Perth. Young Engineering Manager with an electrical background who still has a hand in the technical side.

Bring over 15 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer in Mining projects to be considered. CPEng required.
