At your level you would have had the opportunity of working on a number of high profile tenders within the minerals and metals environment. Your commercial, contract, operations and tendering experience has gained you a distinguished reputation in the surface mining space.
You’re providing high quality service to clients on time and budget without compromising on quality. Top tier clients regularly call you before formalities kick off to advise you of what is needed to secure their project.
In your mind it’s not enough to just give clients what they think they want – you tend to go deeper to discover solutions that meet their actual needs and concerns.
With your expertise, it is obvious where the growth areas lie but the degradation of your current company’s bottom line doesn’t allow for the freedom to gun for new business lines.
This is a company that doesn’t stifle creative thinking and technically challenging ideas. A multidisciplinary team of technically sound professionals will assist in delivering individualised solutions to new and existing clients to secure business in OP.
This position comes out of growth and to meet strategic plans for FY13 and beyond. You’ll be encouraged to explore inroads into potential business streams for the business unit, working closely with the BD Manager to cement pathways.

Growth focus is to develop offshore business, namely Gold and base metals in West Africa and Coal in Asia
Australian growth will be in Gold, Copper, Iron Ore and Coal
Order book in excess of $3B
$1B revenue secured for FY13
Tendering pipeline of $4B
$2.8B of work won in FY12 and looking to improve on that in FY13
