This will earn you the Senior level role as the team organically grows.
Promoter of internal moves to people management levels, this global producer will facilitate a corporate move if that is what you want. Both internal and external support in building a corporate pathway is available through MBA studies or other Masters qualifications (eg. Mineral Economics) with the appropriate study assistance available.
The decision to create this role is part of the company's larger strategy to continue to focus on the development of internal capabilities. The goal is to empower sites to operate independently or without delays. Site-to-site autonomy, at an operational level is reducing interference often caused by unnecessary bureaucracy.
The main focus of the role is mine production but will also include overseeing planning and some exploration activities. Business Improvement, Change Management and Systems Development is where you will add value. Of course you will need to work closely with the General Manager on this.
