Senior Building Services Engineer

My client, a focused supplier of consultancy, engineering and project management services to its customers in the world's oil and gas, minerals and metals, clean energy, environment and infrastructure markets is currently seeking a Senior Building Services Engineer, on a permanent basis, for its Saskatoon operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead a team designing systems related to mining, potash, mineral and chemical processing, focusing on building heating, ventilation and cooling, dust control, and fire protection
• Writing specifications and contract documents
• Reviewing project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation, including checking for technical accuracy
• Developing and maintaining positive, sustainable client relationships
• Coordinating and working with project team members

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrable HVAC experience within the mining industry
• Minimum 10 years of related experience, with a minimum of 4 years focusing on mining projects
• Familiarity with design codes, equipment selection and specification development
• A willingness to take assignments in various field locations
• Ability to register as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the Province of Saskatchewan
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills.
