Senior Mine Engineer - Gold, Residential

You will be
A Mining professional with extensive knowledge of underground mining operations.  Drawing upon significant mining experience, you will have a successful track record in delivering results in the area of mine planning, drill and blast design as well as having strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Duties
  • Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent
  • Oversee the timely production of mine designs and schedules
  • Long term planning
  • Drill & blast design
  • Leading and mentoring engineers 

You will need
  • Degree in Mine Engineering
  • Experience in underground mining operations, preferably in gold mining
  • Good drill & blast experience
  • People management and leadership skills
  • Effective problem solving skills 
  • Attention to detail – time management, record keeping etc
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
