This Australian owned underground mine located in central NSW are currently looking for a Senior Mine Planning Engineer. They are a company that are committed to providing a safe working environment with zero harm and who offer their employees with the opportunity to grow and be promoted within in its organization.

The Role
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager your duties will include short, medium and long term designs, production and scheduling as well as meeting all quality standards including cost, safety and environment
This role will also include leadership and mentoring of the more junior mine planning team members.

You will need
• Degree in Mine Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar role with underground hard rock mining
• Experience with relevant mine planning software
• People management and leadership skills
• Effective problem solving skills 
• Attention to detail – time management, record keeping etc
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
