Senior Civil Project Manager

My client, a Design/Build organization with a large design aspect to their business, is looking for a Senior Civil Project Manager to join and eventually take a leadership role within their Civil Consulting group. The ideal candidate will be a well-polished Civil Project Manager with experience in either municipal or residential land development. This opportunity will offer a great opportunity to take on exciting projects across Southern Ontario, and will eventually grow to encompass team leadership and business development responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Overall management of Civil projects, including preconstruction, design and construction
• Work with contractors and sub-contractors to ensure project plans are adhered to
• Take a leadership role within the team helping to mentor more junior staff
• Participate in planning meetings as needed

Requirements:

• Post secondary education in Civil Engineering
• 7 plus years in Civil Project Management within an engineering consulting organization
• 5 plus years of experience within municipal and/or residential land development
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Either a P. Eng or CET is required
