Mine Planning Engineer

Responsibilities: 
  • Promote health & safety programs targeting zero work related injuries and illness
  • Establish safety awareness by understanding the principles duty of care throughout the entire workforce
  • Review all designs, schedules, plans and manage any unsafe condition
  • Analyze data and rank the reserves and prepare graphical information
  • Manipulate the reserves to account for mining practices
  • Define the equipment and time resources for the mine and apply mine sequence to the database from the mine design to produce a schedule
  • Identify various mine design options and investigate the best option that applies to that particular scenario
  • Develop the 3D Mine Design and report recoverable reserve by quantity and quality to management and contractors
  • Verify waste volume reconciliation, coal tonnage reconciliation with contractor
  • Coordinates all client communication, including major correspondence between the maintains working relationships at all levels throughout the period of the project
  • Good leadership to subordinates with good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Conducts regular meetings to review progress and discuss engineering, procurement and construction changes to project - suggested by or recommended by the Company

Requirements:
  • Male, age 30-40 years old.
  • MinimumDiploma / Bachelor / Master Degree in Mining with clear understanding of different aspects of Mining like planning, exploration, geology, machinery etc.
  • Minimum 8-12 totalyears experience working as a mining engineer & project manager at a coal mining site
  • Fluent in English both oral and written
  • Successful performance as a Project Engineer or Manager on larger sized projects.
  • High responsibility, hard work and good motivation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.
  • Willing totravel to project site
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have excellent computer skill (Microsoft Office, Mine Plan Software, etc
