A global OEM in the provision of capital equipment in the field of mining and construction requires the expertise of an Aftermarket Product Support Manager with experience in Surface Drilling equipment, to be based in the East Rand
Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12
Technical qualification and experienced product support background
Product knowledge of various types of surface drilling equipment, power crushers and mobile crushing units
Management skills are essential
Computer literacy
Ability to travel if required
ETDP qualifications - preferential
Job Specification
National surface drilling equipment product support - management and cost control (PDI of new and rebuilt units, commissioning of new and rebuilt units, assist with customer and field service fault finding, telephonic support to customers and field services division, audit reports with required spare parts/service quotation and sales, promotion of all aftermarket services and products, rental unit control and condition upkeep, field investigation - warranty)
Product liaison for technical issues
Support provided to customer services, training and warranty and field service
Attendance to WIP
Customer technical and quality meeting attendance
Technical manual allocation and updating
Fleet management database - management thereof
Responsible for QA of services rendered
Skills auditing, training and management of subordinates
Monthly reporting to the Aftermarket Manager on surface drilling division

Good interpersonal skills and customer relations, sound working knowledge of power crushers, surface drilling equipment and mobile crushers, independent worker, performance driven, presentable in appearance, good communication skills
