Material Manager I

Position Overview:

• Responsible for TIC Materials Management Implementation Plan (MMIP) for individual or multiple projects. Supervise, plan and direct all Material Control departments and activities. Develop, organize, manage and maintain a functional materials program job-wide. May also be required to perform duties of Material Coordinator on smaller jobs.

Education/Training/Experience:

• Education and experience requirements include a four year degree plus five years’ experience in material control and purchasing, or equivalent combinations of training and/or related experience. In addition to the skills required of the Material Coordinator Level II, the Materials Coordinator Level I must have advanced knowledge of construction requirements/activities, quality control and vendor storage requirements essential. Excellent supervisory, organization and communication skills required.
