Senior Accounts Payable Officer

Our client is one of the worlds leading integrated energy companies with two major projects located in W.A. Due to continued growth three Senior Accounts Payable roles have opened up. Working within an integrated joint venture team the role includes:
  • Verify and process monthly contract payments
  • Review invoices for accuracy
  • Download, print and upload documentation to and from the contract management system
  • Ensure payments conform to specified contract terms, conditions and schedules.
  • Ensure supporting documentation has been included and authorised
  • Document and raise issues and unresolved matters to ensure proper escalation and timely resolution
  • Work closely with other members of the team and supervisors to understand contract terms & conditions, pricing schedules and to resolve any outstanding issues identified through verification process

To be considered for the role you must:
  • Have extensive Accounts Payable/ Accounts Clerk experience working with contracts
  • Have solid working knowledge of MS Office, Contract Management Systems and the ability to pick up new information systems quickly
  • Be able to read and interpret complex contracts
