Qualifications
Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering or similar A minimum of 3 years experience in Drill & Blast is a MUST Previous exposure to Mining Software such as Vulcan, will be highly regarded Well developed communication skills both written & verbal Strong interpersonal skills

Duties
 Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will primarily be responsible for providing technical assistance to the drill & blast team Maintain blast patterns and ensure reports are kept upto date whilst identifying areas of concerns Ensure maximum optimisation is reached whilst abiding by safe work practices and regulations Monitor scheduling and progress of drill & blast operations to ensure short and long term plans are consistently met Possess the ability to design drill patterns whilst taking into account pit design and ground conditions Build positive working relationships with both technical services and mining operations departments
