Project Engineer

Description and Desired Qualifications

• We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to become an integral part of our on-site team with a Fortune 500 global leader in the pharmaceutical industry. Working as part of an integrated team on the Client's premises in Augusta, GA, you will provide engineering expertise and leadership to various projects within the plant. You will be responsible for managing $100K-$1.5M Cap-ex Projects from design through to execution and will be involved in managing bid presentations, providing project cost estimates and developing work scopes, schedules and budgets. Managing multi-disciplined teams you will lead and guide subcontractors and current [Company] and Client employees. Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing Cap-ex Projects within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in managing plant projects from $100K to $2M.
• Estimating experience.
• Experienced in managing bid presentations.
• Able to develop work scopes, schedules and budgets and coordinate with the Planning team.
• Demonstrable experience managing multi-disciplined subcontractors and / or client representative employees within a project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer.
• 7-10 years’ experience managing Cap-ex Projects within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Previous experience working on-site within an integrated team environment or, alternatively, working closely with the Client in an alliance type situation.
