Mechanical Engineer

Description and Desired Qualifications

• As a Mechanical Engineer 3 for our Dallas office, you will work on projects including HVAC and piping systems for commercial, industrial and/or municipal facilities.
• You should be a self-motivated person with a strong understanding of CADD and have a minimum of five years of related technical experience. You must be able to execute tasks within budget and have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Experience with BIM/3D CADD is preferred. You should have a desire to grow both personally as well as professionally with each opportunity.

Our Mechanical Engineers are responsible for:

• Working with Project Managers in development of HVAC or piping systems .
• Understanding layout of building interiors in order to develop system designs.
• Provide guidance to design and CADD Staff.
• Perform HVAC loads and energy analysis for LEED and other projects.
• Perform HVAC equipment selections and scheduling.
• Design of HVAC airside and piping distribution systems.
• Currently a Professional Engineer or able to be licensed as a Professional Engineer
• REVIT experience preferred.

Basic Qualifications

• BSME
• Minimum 4 years of related technical experience
