Intern - Mining Applications Engineer
The Mining Application Engineering (AE) department was initiated in June of 2011. The primary responsibility of the group is to support P&H and P&H Mine Pro sales efforts for new and existing equipment through the development and implementation of Application Engineering Tools, data collection and analysis. The group is responsible for key portions of the Product Impact Training and serves as a sole resource for mining related curriculum. The groups focus includes field work VOC, Performance Analysis, MEVC (TCO analysis) and dipper sizing and selection in response to customer RFQ for all P&H product lines including EMS, Draglines, Rotary Drills and Front End Wheel Loaders. Internship opportunities provide a means of personnel replenishment for entry level positions with respect to department attrition and promotion.
Qualifications
- Applicant shall be working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering. Knowledge of shovels, drills, dragline and haulage operations required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate confidence in material knowledge.
