We are pleased to announce a new and exciting role for a strong mine engineer to work on an exciting WA gold mine. Reporting directly to the Mine Manager this role will be focused around mine planning to the open pit operation. This role is a FIFO 8/6 roster from any major city in Australia and has an attractive remuneration package associated with this position.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• At least 3 years engineering experience within Australia
• Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
• Experience with large scale open-pit hard rock Australian mining
• Experience in managing mining and continuous improvement projects
• Mining Software experience essential
The main tasks of the role include but are not limited to:
• Monitor and assess the Life Of Mine strategic plan
• Medium-term planning of mining activities including waste dumping optimisation
• Provide specialist advice to identify and mitigate medium term (3-24 months) planning risks
• Act or support the competent person for Mineral Reserves
• Coordination and final development of the mining projects
