MINE MANAGER - UNDERGROUND GOLD MINE

They require a Mine Manager to manage their underground operation.


Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be required to:

• Oversee the mine production & operation including managing senior mining personnel ensuring the operation targets are meet
• Continuously review, improve and monitor safety and environmental aspects of the operation
• Financial review and monitoring of operational budgets
• Ensure statutory compliance is met and maintained in accordance with the Mining Act and Regulations
• Provide effective leadership to the site management team
• Management of contractual issues to ensure minimal operation disruptions
• Assist GM with development of overall business strategy

Ideal candidates will have:

• First Class Mine Managers certificate
• Supervisory experience
• UG, hard rock experience
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Tertiary qualifications in Mine Engineering
