Senior Quantity Surveyor

One of the largest rail organisations in NSW have an urgent requirement for an experienced Senior quantity Surveyor.
 
With your diverse knowledge of the construction and rail industry, you will be involved in major rail infrastructure projects, some that are in the wind up phase and some in the start up phase, which requires assistance to the Commercial Manager.
 
Your experience in monitoring construction costs from feasibility through to delivery in order to capture final cost will be your key function.  You will be responsible for contract reviews, cost analysis and cross analysis from submitted tenders.
 
You will mostly work autonomously and have strong knowledge and experience with BuildSoft and/or CostX software. There will be occasional liaison with stakeholders and internal project management teams.
 
Based out of a modern central based office, you will ideally be a Degree qualified Engineer or come with a Degree in Commerce and have experience in commercial and/or construction management within the rail marketplace.
 
Remuneration will depend on what knowledge and experience you can bring to the table but generally will be around $90 - $120 per hour + super.
