Group Financial Controller

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Controller within an AIM listed Mining company based in London. The company have extensive reserves and resources with operations all over the world.

As the Group Financial Controller you will be the sole person in finance, fully responsible for all finance related duties, including:

• Preparation of group accounts, with assistance from external accountants where necessary
• Managing the annual audit
• Managing preparation of the annual report and accounts plus interim results
• Obtaining financial information from the group’s overseas entities
• Producing management accounts and tracking project and corporate expenditure
• Preparation of cash flow forecasts
• Tracking accounts payable and receivable and making payments

Requirements:

• To be successful in your application you must be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• You will have significant post qualification experience as a Financial Controller, preferably within a Miningcompany.
• You must be comfortable and able to run the entire finance function without external assistance.
