Mining Engineer

Permanent senior level position in the Engineering industry.

Exiting career opportunity exists for an experienced Mining Engineer with previous experience as a Mine Manager or Resident Engineer. Someone who has worked on projects from feasibility stages, design and commissioning to take on a new project in Africa, and to share some mining expertise on some local and international projects

Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma / B Tech / BSc Mining qualification
• Mine managers certificate of competency
• Minimum of 20 years and above in the consulting and production environment
• Mine design & Mine planning experience is essential
• Project management and electrical experience is preferred
• Must be prepared to travel and work on in Africa and on international projects
• Preference will be given to candidates with Coal experience but not limited, open to other commodities
