Junior Civil/Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team of professionals in our Edmonton, Alberta office .

Responsibilities:

• Performing Geotechnical investigation, design and project management duties for highway and railway projects, pipelines, large scale industrial foundations, mining, landfills and other civil infrastructure;
• Designing and assessing site investigation, slope stabilization, retaining & revetment structures and shallow & deep foundation systems
• Soil and materials testing
• Erosion control
• Project Management
• Proposal and report preparation
• Client relationship management
• Business development

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Civil, Geology, or related Degree
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Consulting Environment preferred
• Experience with the following software would be an asset: gINT, Geodasy, Rocscience Slide 5.0 and AutoCAD
• Demonstrated commitment to safety & quality management
• Exceptional communication skills
