Job Description
This newly created position will see the incumbent play a key role in this exciting mineral processing development. Your core responsibilities will include;
The position is responsible for setting of corporate standards in coal preparation engineering, maintenance processes, equipment reliability and specification documentation as well as developing and implementing systems for auditing and assurance of adequacy of design, installation and maintenance of and operation of the equipment;
Coordinating and executing successful plant trials and reporting;
Design and specify lab procedures for testing of coal core for the purpose of coal processing analysis for BFS studies;
Design of the CHPP Plants;
Providing commissioning support and development of operating procedures;
Implementation of process control and general plant optimization.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have tertiary qualifications (at a Bachelor’s degree level or higher) in a relevant Engineering discipline accompanied by demonstrated experience (+15 years) within the mineral processing industry. Previous exposure to detailed Coal processing will be highly regarded, as will specific exposure to Commissioning of CHPP Plant and optimization of processes.
