About Our Client
This Mid-tier Australian gold company is investing significantly to create a sustainable production base through exploration and development of existing operations. Due to expansion and a recent merger this company have a number of opportunities for skilled mining engineers at all levels to work in an interesting and challenging underground narrow vein gold operation.
Job Description
As an integral member of the Technical Services team, you will report to the Senior Mining Engineer. Specifically, you will:
Short term mine planning and scheduling using Surpac and Datamine
Providing, implementing and improving current mine designs
Assessing and implementing improvements to the ventilation system
Drill and Blast design and planning
The Successful Applicant
You will be a highly motivated and driven mining engineer with 2 years previous experience in mining engineering and must have completed your underground time. Additionally, you will possess:
A good working knowledge of Surpac, Datamine or other scheduling software
A degree in Mining Engineering or similar
A team orientated approach
