About Our Client
This opportunity is with a leading organisation of surveying and geospatial specialists employing a range of techniques including Satellite Imagery Mapping, 3D GIS Mapping, and Aerial Surveying. Using these systems allows clients to make informed decisions with accurate information saving time and money whilst increasing productivity.
The role will involve field auditing and office based work predominantly in remote locations. A commitment to safe work practices and assisting with day-to-day coordination of the survey teams including staffing management for various projects. You will manage training and supervision of junior personnel and graduates to foster the team ethic and best practice. Investigating new technologies and solutions that may be applicable in the survey market will form a part of the role and supports providing effective consultation with customers on spatially related issues.
The Successful Applicant
Thoroughly competent with GPS and Total Station
2-3 years background in Steel, Concrete, Bulk Earthworks or Infrastructure surveying is advantageous
Comprehensive understanding of survey best practices
Confident in advising and consulting to clients and staff across a range of surveying issues
Class C Australian drivers license
What's On Offer
The role offers a base salary circa $80,000 plus allowances, super (9%) and site uplift. This role is FIFO 2/1 ex Perth.
