Due to recent growth and expansion, the company is looking for a Senior Mine Planning Engineer to specialise in an open pit gold operation.
Job Description
Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, the Senior Mine Planning Engineer will be responsible for:
Medium term and LOM plans and schedules
Feasibility studies for additional resources
Pit optimisation
Mine design
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this Senior Mine Planning Engineer role, you will ideally possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
Significant experience in open pit operations, preferably gold
Significant experience in mine planning activities
A strong knowledge of Australian regulations and software packages
