My client is a growing Mining mid tier based within the Metropolitan Perth area. Their flagship asset is growing and will be a major revenue source within the very near future and, as a result, the company are pro-actively managing their future staffing needs.
Job Description
As the Geology Superintendent, your primary focus is the management and development of the geology team. You will be in charge of co-coordinating and the set up of all environmental and geological processes across a broad range of projects, while liaising with different departments on site to achieve the best possible grade from the ore body. This role will operate on a 5/2, 4/3 FIFO roster from Perth.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful, you will ideally posses strong technical skills in geology, ideally within a production environment. Strong communication skills and knowledge of appropriate mining software packages will be highly regarded. Furthermore, you will have a proven track record in managing and leading a team of professionals.
