Mine Geologist - Open Pit

On behalf of our Client applications are being accepted from experienced Open Pit Geologists for a one year contract role in Central West NSW.
 

The successful applicants must have: 

  • Tertiary Geology Qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a Production role.
  • Open Pit experience is preferred.
  • Competent with the use of Surpac and other software packages.
 
Duties will include:

  • Daily reporting of mine physicals.
  • Pit wall mapping.
  • Grade control, delineating ore blocks and supervising blast hole sampling.
  • Ore spotting.
 
Summary:

This is a residential position in Central West NSW that offers subsidized housing, transport to and from site and other benefits.
The roster is 5/2 & 4/3 with the option of FIFO or DIDO considered
